Work with state office to reply to correspondence received relative to membership.
- Check Qualifications of applicants for grade of membership applied for.
- Submit all applicants at Board meetings with recommendation for appropriate action.
- Work with state office to solicit membership by:
- Writing articles for the SLSI newsletter, and
- Contacting new LS registrants by letter of invitation and application form. The state office will provide appropriate mailing lists.
- Review list of delinquent members provided by state office or treasurer and make contact for reinstatement.
- Review bylaws for recommendations on membership categories and dues.
- Report to Society at Annual Meeting any increase or decrease in membership by respective membership categories.
